We have used the services of numerous Dutch firms, including an Amsterdam Zuid as Office firm and subsequently included LVH.

After the first week with LVH we terminated the others including the large Amsterdam zuid as law firm.

As we are an Anglo-Dutch firm run by a US Lawyer, and a former big 4 partner in the professional services industry. We found that with LVH we had no issues with English legal to English to Dutch, as nothing was lost in translation or created a miscommunication situation. The difference between common law understanding and practice and civil law requirements and processes was eloquently explained in a concise manner, without turning it into a legalistic discussion and losing the case focus/time and casuistry.

The LVH way of casuistry treatment gave us a number of insights that we could not have imagined of in any other way in advance, and was never presented earlier with the others.

LVH managed to inform us in such a manner that we had a clear legal strategy, which was subsequently translated to a colloquial/understandable format. We were continually informed and updated in a pleasant direct manner, which in turn was very relieving to us. This also included operating in different time zones and availability/flexibility of LVH.

Never did we get the feeling of “scope creep”, engagement exploiting or being confronted with unexpected costs and or expenses.

In short; we felt that LVH acted as part of our situation and not standing on the side-line shouting legalistic witticisms.
