Contracts and civil disputes often involve more than just the legal basis. Gentia focuses on situations in which timing, structure and well-considered choices are decisive for the course of a case. With incisive analysis and a forward-looking approach, she provides support in making decisions that stand the test of time.
Gentia’s added value is particularly evident in situations where clarity is needed. For example, when agreements come under pressure or it is not immediately clear which next step is most appropriate. In such situations, she brings structure to the process, compares different scenarios and explores where there is scope for a solution.
Gentia: ‘The choice between a strategic solution and legal proceedings is carefully weighed up on a case-by-case basis.’
Gentia advises on contractual relationships during the preliminary phase and assists clients in negotiations and legal proceedings. Her practice focuses primarily on contract and litigation law. This is in line with her academic background: she obtained her bachelor’s degree in law and completed a master’s degree in private law. She is also active in aviation law, where she assists clients with legal issues relating to passenger rights, operational matters and contractual relationships. At LVH Advocaten, Gentia is the designated point of contact for aviation matters and leads the aviation team.
Gentia is known for her clear communication and her pragmatic approach. She always keeps a sharp focus on what is most relevant to her client and is in her element in cases where diligence, a clear overview and decisiveness come together.
In accordance with Article 35b(1) of the Regulations Governing the Legal Profession, Gentia is registered in the Dutch Bar Association’s register of legal practice areas under the category of general practice (civil law). This registration requires her to earn continuing professional development points in this field each calendar year, in accordance with the standards set by the Dutch Bar Association.
